Of course, if you want to speak with a particular Alice just note that in your toplevel as long with the date and rough time it's happening. They can be contacted IC-ly throughout the day.

For the final week, in person meetings with the Storyteller (formerly known as the Cat) aren't possible. Alice, obviously, isn't talking to anyone either. However! The Storyteller can be called to talk throughout the castle so just say where you're yelling at her from.

[ Knocks on the door, just looking for a quick confirmation of the terms of the motive. ]

[The door opens for his knock. Queen Alice does look like she was ready to curl up for a nap like she said but straightens up when Nagisa comes in. The cat lazily looks in his direction as well, purring softly.]

Is this about the prize?

[Alice what else could it be???]

Right. I won't take too much of your time, I just wanted to check -- when you're referring to this "obstacle" you'd get rid of, you mean a single individual, correct? If that obstacle were an entire population, I assume that would be out of the question?

[twinverses]

That's right.

I'm not feeling generous enough to get rid of more than one person.

[strictura]

Fair enough.

[ He didn't really want to have to consider it anyway, so that's a relief, honestly.

Out of curiosity, nothing in here looks noticeably different than it did last week, does it?

Also, to the Queen-- ]

Are you feeling all right after this past weekend?

[twinverses]

[It doesn't, actually. Everything looks pretty much the same. Some minor differences in the balcony area since that seems to be the Queen's bedroom (books on the arm of the throne, a bowl of cookies on the other, etc) but nothing that would be unusual compared to what he saw last week.]

I'm--mm... just tired, really.

[The cat sort of shifts uncomfortably at that.]

What happened was really bad. No one really came in here and yelled at me, though.

I'm glad you can see that, at least.

[ Said with a firm nod of agreement, because it definitely was bad. He looks back to the cat and frowns for a moment, but eventually turns to go without saying anything. ]

Um. Before you go... I was talking to my Alice because I thought you might want something.

[The cat doesn't look his way but her words sure do sound like 'why are we talking with boys?']

A-anyway. Sorry about the library being incomplete. If you want some of the nonfiction stuff I'd be happy to try to get some of them back out.

The books had an accident in the previous game. It shouldn't be a problem to bring them back now.

[ He guesses he somehow now can't rule out the books somehow getting into an accident on their own, but. ]

Well, they just happened to be there when someone decided they wanted to try out. It was really unfair to them, honestly.

I dunno what she's talking about but they will be better now.

[Something about that huge blood stain Allen found on day one, maybe?]
